执导《不能说的秘密》的周杰伦上了瘾，特意为此次上海演唱会编排故事情节。
11月24日，“我的音乐地盘”2007周杰伦世界巡回演唱会上海站将再次唱响八万人体育场的舞台，兑现当初杰伦向上海歌迷许下的承诺。主办方介绍，日期将近，周杰伦却似乎忙得没时间来准备演唱会。先是忙着自己首部自导电影《不能说的秘密》的宣传，接着又是每年一张的新专辑发行，还有多个代言品牌的广告在排着长队，炙手可热的“小天王”可谓分身乏术。尽管如此，也许是执导电影的经历给了周杰伦无限的灵感，抽空旁观演唱会筹备的周杰伦耐不住手痒，越俎代庖地在自己上海演唱会的设计中加进了不少故事元素，包括开场部分均会考虑通过故事元素来与音乐元素结合，引领观众进入他编织的音乐故事世界。
同时，演唱会的正牌导演将在技术方面做出努力，特别安排了数量庞大的电脑灯和镭射灯，将整个舞台营造成犹如太空般的奇妙环境体验。在音乐方面，导演更是安排了庞大的弦乐团与多达二十几人的舞群来配合周杰伦，而周杰伦也正在抓紧时间学习新舞步。导演还表示，根据设计，周杰伦需要将所有的表演曲目做重新的音乐程式编排，让歌迷在现场听到完全不同于唱片中的全新音乐构思。
据悉，昔日上海的万种风情和十里洋场的繁华，是此次周杰伦上海演唱会的重要元素，在一片以桔黄为主的暖色调中，营造出老上海的纸醉金迷。导演表示，会考虑通过复古风来体现。届时，周杰伦及其舞群的服装、现场的道具以及舞台的临时场景都将以老上海十里洋场的万千风情为主基调，配合着电脑镭射等的光影效果，使现场观众感觉犹如乘坐了时光穿梭机一般。
