日前，周杰伦的经纪约终于要落在自己的新公司门下。据台湾媒体报道，周杰伦的新公司“杰威尔音乐有限公司”已经于1月26日完成了公司登记，即将于4月份开张。至于公司颇耐人寻味的名字“杰威尔”，据记者分析，极有可能是“Jay will”或者是“Jay well”，总之是对前景的美好憧憬和希望。
根据这些年周杰伦的发展经历来看，周杰伦的新公司也将会走进一个全新的发展历程。已经分身于演艺事业的周董，又有了新的目标，那就是自己当老板，但这并不代表周杰伦有做老总的资格以及具有老总应该具有的市场敏锐性，可以说，周杰伦是一个优秀的歌手，但并不一定是一个合格的投资人，这也是这些年他能够在音乐道路上有所发展的一大原因，如果分心于其他事业上，周董也就很难将全部精力投放在音乐上了。
如此一来，“杰威尔”的公司代表人，也就是周杰伦的经纪人杨峻荣先生成为了该公司真正意义上的老板，他会借由周杰伦这块金字招牌发展市场。之前曾经传出过他与周董不和的消息。这就为二人的合作蒙上了薄薄的一层阴影，但这种不稳定因素一时还不至于对新公司造成太大的影响——毕竟歌迷只知道周杰伦有经纪人，却不认识杨峻荣。
不过时间长了，情况就不一定如此乐观了，明星在自立门户时，请亲朋好友帮忙可以让明星有安全感，不过，“任人唯亲”的问题也不少，在处理事情上，如果和对方过分熟悉，就很容易迁就对方，考虑问题不够客观、理智和长远，并不见得利于艺人的发展。橙天娱乐的王京花不就是因为其创下了“金牌经纪人”的名声，才能挖走那些明星再自立门户吗？那么杨峻荣“以周董之名”走上这条路也不是完全没有可能。
